Its funny how the most passionate commenters in this thread have all only recently joined .... November 2011.

Anyhow I am a huge Pacquiao fan but thought that Marquez got robbed when I first watched the fight. After re-watching the fight, I thought it was closer fight and thought Pac did enough to win a close fight.

I really think it depends on which style you prefer, the cleaner puncher that lands fewer or the fighter that is more aggressive lands more.

I will only give a counterpuncher the decision if he is also not being hit. IMO Pac did enough for the decision ..... this may change when/if i rewatch the fight again.

You guys hit on the pacstans saying they ain't real boxing fans and don't stick to technical stuff of the sport.

Now you got someone having the initiative to watch the fight in slomo so he could see and observe fully the fight and break it down carefully.

Yeah for ****'s sake the fight is in real time, but you can only say that if you're at the tip of the ring like where the judges at. If you say this and just watched it from afar, or a 48' HDTV, I'm sure you'll miss somethin' and just talking outta your ass to decide a fight this close.

Me too. I only watched the fight on a choppy stream and i really thought it was a robbery.
Only when i borrowed a recorded copy did i watched the fight in clear HD and indeed it was a close fight.

My bad. I meant to say slow motion. You have to watch it in 1/6 speed though. Not a second faster and not a second slower.

For someone who is a "boxing genius", you must have a keen eye in real time to see every thrown punch and landed punch even in bad angles. Even officials, referees etc make bad calls. WTF wouldn't someone want to see the slow motion of punches landed or didn't land. That's the benefit of technology. BTW 2-d glasses not needed but your bi-focals are needed.
