These 'boxing fans' still haven't debunked the TS point with detailed timestamps.. I had the fight for Pacquiao, but I can also see why others may have had it for JMM. Those saying JMM dominated Pacquiao..Marquez is a great fighter and his skillset when faced against Mannys skillset ends with a close decision almost every time. Go back through boxing history and you will have a rival that seemed to be able to give you hell.
I was at the fight in the MGM and thought JMM won (the pro-JMM crowd may have swayed my decision.. awesome atmosphere) and gave props to a bunch of pissed off Mexicans.. but after watching the replay you can see that it was a close fight with two great fighters going tit for tat.. like a boxing chess match in there. If anything it shows how much Manny had improved IMO.. he was avoiding/blocking more shots than I thought he would.
BTW: I didn't even have to watch it in SLOW MOTION to come to my conclusion.Last edited by | THE KING |; 11-16-2011, 07:13 PM.Comment

lol, i see a lot of scorecards here with 115-113 pac, and 116-112 pac - all of which are justified with round by round explanations.
im pretty sure a lot of ppl did rewatch the fight and have pacquiao winning [i bet they too used slow motion to see it] but just pretend they didnt see it so they can continue to cry robbery for no reason lol
and ya, i didnt need slow motion to see 115-113 pac, just 1 replay - but slow motion did rise that to 116-112 so i agree most with the 116-112 judge.
its worth mentioning again that the judges did a really good job in not letting the anti-pacquiao crowd influence what they saw.Comment

I'll watch the fight anyway you want. Fast forward, slow motion, rewind, 3-d, 2-d, drunk or sober. Just let me know.Comment

the only people who could really judge it good first time are more likely the judges coz they are in front watching the fight with no highlights that makes them forget the action that actually happened during the rounds
while us viewers see the fight on screen with them showing a couple of good shots from marquez and then tends to throw away and ignore the fast good shots from pac. and sometimes the OOZZ and WOOOOs from the audience which is 70% Mexicans can sometimes affect our scoring of the fight
i know its not good to ask people to watch it in slow mo or in mute coz pac actually won the fight so theres no point
but im just saying try watch it in slow mo and you'll start to appreciate how pac actually was blocking most of jmms punch and
you'll start seeing how those right hooks and left straight landed on JMM's face
im still waiting for people to make their own time stamp, so i can check it myself why they think jmm won, i dont want to hear its because of the highlights :///
I will watch it again and again in HD on a big screen in real time when it is replayed as I do with all controversial fights but why is a special manner of viewing needed for anyone to have scored the fight for Pac?
What would my score likely be if I watched it fast forwarded? Would JMM have won every rd in dominant fashion in that manner of viewing in your estimation?Comment
