Were you saying he should retire or that he was turning soft in 2004 and 2008 when he looked basically the same, give or take a round, against Marquez?

I love how the only explanation for *******s is that Manny has lost it, he is past prime, no more killer instinct, leg cramps, Marquez stepped on his toes, he's old, he's soft, he's a congressman....

Many is the same old Manny he has always been. He has the speed the power and that killer instinct. However, Marquez took all that away with great timing, counter-punching and ring generalship.

You want to see Manny look like superman again, put him in the ring with another punching bag.

          Catch-22

If he destroys Marquez, everybody would be calling out Manny to get it on with Floyd because "he beat Marquez worse than Floyd ever could."

If he goes the distance with Marquez, he won't appear to be much of a threat to Floyd, therefore no need to push the fight as much as before and the mega fight will have lost it's luster and attraction. Hence no need to take THE TEST.

Ya, I wanted him to destroy Margarito and Mosley. But it looked like he clearly stop attempting any KD after it was obvious Margarito/Mosley pose no threat.

I've been saying this for a while now. Pacquiao from 2001-2009 doesn't let Margarito last 12, and he doesn't want to touch gloves with Shane Mosley 50 times. He also doesn't let himself get punked by Floyd Mayweather this way.

It's not why he struggled with Marquez, but it was very disappointing to see Pacquiao never make an attempt to straight bum rush Marquez, especially with the physical advantages he had.
