Who are they fooling? Cinco de Mayo has traditionally been a fight day involving Mexicans, ever since ODLH. In my view, they are primarily aiming to fight a Mexican on that date, could be Morales, or Canelo Alvarez, less likely Maravilla. It would actually not be very fair to Pacquiao to have a Floyd fight in Vegas. A more neutral location might be better.

Alvarez could be a big fight for Floyd 12-15 months from now, in early 2013, if Alvarez were to grab wins over Cintron, Kirkland, and Cotto or something. I wouldn't be totally pissed at Alvarez, but I'd rather see Khan or Martinez, since Top Rank isn't interested in negotiating a Floyd fight.

It really should be clear as day who's avoiding the fight, Bob Arum. And Manny isn't pushing for it, at least from what's come out.
