there are a lot of rounds that I thought were close so I have no problem scoring the fight for a close manny win, a draw, or a close marquez win, but my only nitpick of your post is when you said "who would you rather be at the end of the round" that's not how you score rounds. I hear Lederman say that ALL the time on HBO and that's just simply not how you judge a round, it's a weird thing he says which probably explains why his scorecards are off so frequently.
I had scored the 11th for Marquez regardless, was just giving Manny the benefit of the doubt by asking "who I'd rather be". Manny looked like he was trying to win the round, but Marquez was doing more of what he wanted to do in that round that Manny was. Looking like you want to win a round and actually winning a round are not the same.
after taking a look at jmm's face, definitely pac.
pac evidentently pounded jmm's face in once again and jmm hardly scratched pac...so i would rather be pac.
Marquez' face, at 38 years old does not hold up very well. If that's how you judge rounds, then you shouldn't waste anymore time doing it. Marquez' face starts to swell within the first two rounds of all his fights nowadays.
