Comments Thread For: Carlos Negron is Planning a Return To Cruiserweight

The experiment with former Olympian Carlos Negrón (13-1, 9 KO's) as a heavyweight is now over. The experiment became history when the tall 6'6 heavyweight was knocked out on September 2 as veteran Colombian Epifanio Mendoza (32-12-1, 28 KO's) in just three rounds. Negron had four wins at heavyweight after blasting a 9-0 record in the cruiserweight.

good move if he's in PR & under the WBO control he'll be ok, but w/ his extensive amateur/olympic career he still needs a lot of schooling...won't be an easy road if he decides to challenge and contend away for the umbrella...
