Khan is definitely a bigger threat than Pac, and I don't think Khan is much of a threat at all, so that tells you what chance Manny has. I have been saying this for years, Floyd is ALL wrong for Manny and Manny is ALL right for Floyd. Top Rank/Arum will never let Pac in the ring with Floyd, because than Pac is done...as he almost was Sat, with that blatant robbery. Pac has been and always will be a sucker for technical counterpunching. He also has problems with speed, if the person is almost as quick as he is. His defense is still **** and he cannot cut the ring off. Floyd will beat Manny as easy as he did Shane, period. Khan because of his range and height and speed would be a decent challenge for Floyd, would be nice to watch. Only thing is that Khan's chin is terrible and he lunges so much when he punches, he would eat counterhooks, checkhooks, and lead or counter rights all night. Floyd by late TKO or UD over Khan.

I just find this whole situation to be pathetic on Team Pacquiao's part. If you don't want to fight the guy, just admit it. You've already had your retired judge send a letter to GBP expressing your lack of intrest in a Mayweather fight, so why not just say it publicly?

Instead of pursuing a 4th Marquez fight, or trying to send Amir off to slaughter before he's ready to even face someone of that caliber?

Yea the whole thing has been a fabrication to this point, how to make Floyd look bad and in the wrong so they appeared to be above him without actually getting in the ring (since I am pretty sure everyone on the team realized what would happen if the fight actually took place, outside Manny), it looks they will continue to try and play this game when really the jig is up.

It would be better to just own it now, although Manny has pride so that would be a tough sell for Arum because Manny probably did think all that was true.

It would be like the scene in Rocky III when Rocky is talking to Mick about why Rocky shouldn't fight Clubber Lang, his whole world would be shattered.

I have always wanted to see Floyd bludgeon Amir Khan though so I will enjoy that.

Khan might need a few(one or two)fights at WW before he is ready for May tbh..But I see Khan's height and speed giving May more trouble then Pac boxing stance and fast hands..But Khan and Bradley should mix it up,then win or lose Khan can fight Ortiz Berto winner or Brook and get use to WW...

i cant stand khan i admit but, he has matured well as a fighter.
however, he still has to beat english fighters first.
kell brook,kev mitchell etc..
a rematch with maidana or possibly a match with ortiz or berto.
any of these five could easily beat khan.
it is my view as an englishman that the "public" as khan puts it are not demanding a fight with floyd....no.....we(the public) are laughing at the suggestion that this little **** could even be in the same ring as fmj let alone give him his first loss.

He is a genuine champion, and one of the very best guys in his division.

I hear ya, he talks ****, and calling out Mayweather for the last 6 months when he is clearly not ready has not helped him with some of the more knowledgeable fans, but I think there could be some truth to the point that some guys have made where it is all about getting your name out there, it is all about promotion and leverage.

He will sell tickets for Peterson, based on his comments about Mayweather. Everyone knows Mayweather, and some casuals will pay just to see if Khan is as good as he says.

He needs to do what Romey suggested and transition to welter before looking at, or talking about, Mayweather. I kinda like the Kell Brooke idea if Khan he gets past Peterson, so there is your home fight

yeah, i guess so.
although maidana deserves a rematch along with mccloskey as his "0" was taken so unfairly. but, as you say...its a matter of money/leverage/promoting themselves.
