i think floyd chose feb. as the date for his first fight of 2012 because he wants to start early so he's able to get more fights in/stay active. but picking feb. makes a pac vs may fight unlikely for the start of the new year. It seems both pac and floyd are uninterested in fighting each other next; pac wants to try again in adding closure to his rivalry with jmm and floyd wants to be more active next year.

Actually the interview where Floyd says he's thinking about fighting in FEB was after the Pac-JMM fight Saturday, nice try though. That interview came out yesterday, notbefore the Pac fight moron.

The fact STILL REMAINS and CAN'T BE DEFLECTED anymore......Top Rank and Pac are not pursuing a Mayweather fight, in favor of a 4th fight with JMM.

so if he announced he was planning to fight on feb. right after the pac vs marquez fight then it shows he is putting no effort into pursuing a pac fight as well.

Like I stated in another thread, there are way tooo many stories going around. Ellerbe says Floyd wants Pac on May 5th.....Erik Morales is saying that GBP is trying to set up a fight between them 2........Floyd is saying he wants to fight in Feb (which rules out any chance of Pac being his opponent). I dont know what to believe anymore.
