We don't hear a lot about 16 year old Mexican fighters. A lot of them turn pro at that age in Mexico. Some of them are gonna become seasoned veterans and turn into something special later on, and some won't. But we don't hear about them now because there is no way of knowing what a 16 year old Pro will turn into.

Floyd was exposed to HBO early and thus became known, all due to his Olympic background. He was groomed the right way. Fought in the Amateurs in his teens, won at the Olympics and then turned pro. Others are coming up the harder way and didn't have Boxing Fathers groom them to become Champions (I.E. Roy Jones jr, Delahoya with his father, Shane Mosley << all guys with Daddy issues by the way.)

100% agree. Just when I'm starting to be on Team Floyd, he has to open his goddamn mouth to spew some bullshit. Pac didn't come up from nothing. The guy had to work incredibly hard to be where he is at now. He was lineal flyweight champ at fucking 19 for chrissakes! It's only the past 3 years where he began to plateau challenge wise and make super big money fights. On top of that, he's Asian and you don't see ANY popular Asian mainstream fighters in the United States.
