If you have guys noticed, "Countdown to Klitschko-Rahman" has only been shown once, last night at 11:30PM. Since then, all the replays have been "Legendary Nights: Foreman-Moorer". Well, we all know why this is.
Anyway, there was one touching piece regarding the telecast. After Vitali lost to Chris Byrd, he needed surgery for his shoulder and he couldn't do anything. He thought he made the right decision for looking out for his safety but everyone crucified him saying he lacked heart and quit.
Vitali felt he hit rock bottom and all of a sudden, he received a mail from Max Schmelling telling Vitali to pick himself up just like Schmelling did after a loss. Vitali never lost ever since(except for that controversy with Lewis). I just thought it was a really nice gesture from an old Hall of Famer and it was quite touching.
