judges don't score on basis of their body language after the fight...ur mom knows that...

did you guys really score the fight, or are you just saying Manny won 8 rounds or JMM won 7 rounds?

      I have trouble with the scoring on rounds 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10

I felt it would be a tough fight, but also felt that MannyP would win.

Because, if Marquez had pacquiao's "number", Manny P. also had Marquez' number. If you look a bit more closely, you will see If you are really looking and want to) that marquez scored many of his hits when he had pacquiao's foot FIRMLY trapped uder his own, preventing MannyP from moving. Holding a guy's foot down in the ring also does a hell of a lot more than it's worth my while going into here.

I particularly noticed that it was deliberate, because instead of sliding his foot as a boxer normally would, he lifted it up high, balanced on the heel, and brought it down FIRMLY right on Pacquiao's foot, holding it there, time after time. I don't know why the Roach didn't see it and complain. He was busy looking at the wrong things i suppose, as was I. But I saw it plainly in the Youtube slow motion playback which you should really have a good look at.

Deliberate, means fouling. If MannyP wasn't a going-forward fighter and was trying to retreat, he could have fallen and broken an ankle or something like.
Man, wtf are you talking about? It's not a foul, dude. Get over it.

Pacquiao fans aren't boxing fans, they're just Pacquiao fans.

Pacquiao won fair and square, Marquez fell short. Watch the replay rd by rd. The link will enlightened some doubters..
You can't straighten any of these low levels out. They are as much impelled by a completely unreasoning of Arum, who has never done them any harm, as they are about MannyP's success, which they are jealous of. And it seems that all the Mayweather syncophants have gathered, and the Pacquiao supporters are temporarily silenced by the fact that they expected a KO or a huge beating, andf Marquez exceeded all their expectations.

I don't follow either of them, but if I have to chose, I chose MannyP who is a much better fighter to watch, and as a human being a thousand times the superior of a thug like Mayweather. He is a sportsman in the true meaning of the word, and I LIKE that.

I watched the replay again, and I am not convinced Pacman won the fight. I still give JMM rounds 2, 4,5,7,8, 10, and 11, with round 12 even. You can't say I'm wrong because at least one of the judges voted for JMM in those rounds. All you can say is that you disagree with the way I saw it.

If you give points to the "aggressor," then you have to give points for defense. Pac was coming forward, but JMM was making him miss. How many times did Jmm duck under Pac's straight left? At least 8 times. Other times Pac would miss and JMM would counter with a combination. So although Pac was the aggressor, JMM's defensive prowess nullified Pad's aggression. Pac hit a lot of air on his punches and JMM should have scored points for defense.

Listen. I had already retired from boxing years before you were born. I had an amateur record of 59-3, losing my last 2, years after I'd officially retired. I've forgotten more about boxing than you'll ever know. And I've fought southpaws. In fact lost to one. Those were the days when there were no head guards nor lower body pads or protective cups. My uncle was a carnival booth fighter and another uncle a sometime promoter. My 2 trainers were top fighters, and I mean TOP. I have seen literally thousands of fights. So don't tell me I know nothing about boxing.

I may not know as much as some others on this site, but I know enough to know what I'm talking about. Which can't be said for many, including "you know who".

I hope it's obvious to you, that what I'm getting at, but might have to explain to you, is that stepping deliberately on an opponents foot is a foul. I've seen more than one fighter lose a point for doing it. Even if accidental, and of course, it does happen, it's against the rules, and if repeated more than a couple of obviously accidental times will or should, draw a caution.

MARQUEZ'S face was 5 times worse looking than PACQUIAO'S

All I know is that aside from that accidental headbutt from MARQUEZ to PACQUIAO.. MARQUEZ'S face was 5 times worse looking than PACQUIAO'S at the end of the fight
