True, I guess Heredia (spelling?) did his job, Marquez looked better physically at the weight than he was with Mayweather. I guess Mayweather makes everyone look bad stylistically. Btw both Roach and Ariza underestimated Marquez, and I don't blame them tbh we saw Katsidis hurting Marquez so its natural to assume that Manny was going to land something big like in their first two fights.

I admit, I didn't think Marquez would fight as well as he did in his second fight at welterweight. He did better than others did against Manny, but I still gave the edge to Manny. Styles make fights, these two styles will always result in very controversial outcomes...no matter how many times they fight.

However, to my recollection, most of the *******s and many of the Pacquiao fans thought that Juan Manuel Marquez was a credible and dangerous opponent for Manny. It was by no means an "easy fight" in their view.

Juan, I am sorry I assumed you would just be another Top Rank bum to feed to Pacquiao...you came in and gave it your best and lost in a valiant effort. Pacquiao won the fight by maybe 1 round (I scored it 114-114, but aggression does deserve mention.)

I thought you were going to be steamrolled, but instead you proved how you have the heart of a warrior. Not even Arum or the judges could keep you from collecting taxes on Pacquiao's head Saturday night. You represent everything that is right with boxing.
