I see no reason for an immediate Pac/JMM rematch, other then the obvious.

Really, why? what would it prove? Pac has already, at least on paper beaten Marquez twice, so beating him again at this stage wouldn't make much of a difference.

& if Marquez wins, even if he wins big, **** he could win by KO, what would it prove? Marquez might be the better man on that night but he'd still be down 2-1 in the rivalry.

IMHO Pacquiao should just do what Morales did when he felt he was robbed in the MAB trilogy, go out and beat the guy who beat the guy who got the better of you, which in this case would be Floyd Mayweather Jr.

He' get at least a 10 million dollar pay day. Nice cash out. There's nothing else left out there for JMM. I think he'll take it and then retire.

It makes sense from a business standpoint for Marquez, although he still wouldn't come out ahead in the rivalry, but i was thinking more for Pacquiao, who is ironically both the person who won and the person calling for the rematch.

The only logical reason why Pac is calling for this fight right now is because he and everyone around him know he's not ready for Mayweather.
