I remember Marquez turning down the rematch the after their first fight because of money issues so that's on him.

I blame Fanny Sucquiao for the delay of the third fight after the second fight in 2008. Remember when he said, "This business is over blah blah blah...buy my song...blah blah blah."

Team Fanny Sucquiao can go suck my left nut for this shit. Where the fuck was this shit in March 2008 when that fight was even closer than this third one?

if the excuse back in 2008 was Manny had bigger and better fight then why pass on the biggest fight of the decade this time and Manny's biggest fight of his career to give JMM and immediate rematch this time around? only logical answers I could think of is

          1. Manny's people felt Marquez was too dangerous back in 2008 so he waited tell until he slowed down

          2. Manny's people feel the biggest fight for them (other then JMM) right now is unwinnable so they will take a pass

Pacquiao can no longer make 130 pounds, and another reason was Marquez disrespecting Manny when he came over to the Philippines.

Last I remember, Floyd was "disrespecting" him for the last 2 year, but the claim has been that they wanted to fight FMJ, so how is this relevant? Not to mention, the whole buildup for this fight was about how Pac was gonna get payback for Marquez disrespected him wearing the shirts, and continually saying he won both fights. Now, why go after him now again? Since he "CLEARLY won the fight", why does he need a rematch? Why not go into the biggest money making fight of all time?

              VERY weak excuse!
If you are gonna lie for Pac, you could at least put some effort & creativity into it.

Pac moved up in weight and arum presented him with fame..such as going to sing on jimmy kimmel shows and having his own fragrance...he basically sold his soul to the old man...in return pac has to do what arum tells him to do...but now everything is coming out slowly people are seeing through what bob arum is doing and the way he's making his money.
ou sound more than a little nuts. Plain obsession and fantasy. You can even read minds.

He's going after him again, because he knows that he didn't produce the fight that his fans expected, which is his main goal. He always talks about it. And, because Marquez did much better than was expected, he sees that many people thought that Marquez won.

And Arum sees that it's a perfect opportunity for a 4th fight, no one was hurt, and because of Marquez' unexpected good showing, it will be a big attraction. A promoters dream. It'll make money for everyone, the fighters, the promoters, the PPV people, the memorabilia sellers etc.....everybody.

And don't forget, this fight was the best boxing buy for at least the past 15 years, with the $25 Tecate rebate.
