I was wondering this too. Vitali admitted to steroid use earlier in his career.
I think it has resulted in him being injury prone.
exactly thats what i was thinking but the injuries are pretty convienient, always happening right before he has to fight someone who could threaten him....
vitali is looking for somone easy to beat in order to look good in the public eye, he'll prob look for another danny williams who didnt deserve the shot to begin with. or maybe he'll fight john daly, we know he loves to fight golfers.....

And Vitology was CLEARED to fight. This was done by one of Vitology's PR people.
"After reviewing the MRI Friday, Dr. Bert Mandelbaum (of Santa Monica, Calif.) told me that I have at least a torn meniscus and a bone bruise," Klitschko said. "I was examined again on Saturday by (orthopedic surgeon) Dr. Tony Daly. I was fitted with several knee braces and tried to spar. But nothing worked. My knee was just too unstable."
I dont know if you call a torn meniscus and bruised bone as cleared to fight. Maybe somebody in it for the money wouldn't care, but someone who wants to maintain his status does.
I much rather have Vitali fighting healthy than have him pull another Chris Byrd in the ring because of something that could've been avoided.
