          RIP Smokin Joe.

On a separate point I was shocked to see how Ali's Parkinsons has deteriorated, the greatest athlete of the 20th century no less.

I'm sorry, but Don King can go **** himself. That bastard is part of the reason that Joe didn't have the money that he should have had. I wish god would do the right thing by giving us Joe back and taking that slimey bastard instead.

He and Joe were good friends. If you watched the Joe Frazier
Beyond the glory episode, they show that he and Joe used to hang out all the time. In fact here it is at 40:20 :

Ali was pretty much sorry all these decades for what he did to Joe and paid the last respects to the man who partially is responsible why he's great.

Ali was clapping because during the funeral he received two financially lucrative offers....a title fight against Vitali Klitchko as long as Vit gets to pick the judges, referee and the fight is in Germany.....and a title shot against Denis Lebedev if he can lose 60 pounds in 30 days to make Cruiserweight.
