Why shouldn't he take the fight, since he'd get a very good payday. Don't these guys fight for money?? And wouldn't he want to make it clear that he CAN beat Pacquiao?? I believe that Manny P just won 115-113. He certainly didn't lose, but because of all the high hopes that his fans had that he would beat up Marquez, he was dejected at his failure to do so. This in no way indicates that he thought he'd lost.

I'm curious as to the cause of his cramping in both this fight and the Mosley fight, where he had not the best performances.

All the same, I think it's about time that people should stop and THINK. Just a week or more ago this same Keith Kizer, the NSAC Commissioner for heaven's sake, said plainly and with no if's, buts' or maybe's, that when it came to the OST testing, already last year Arum, Golden Balls and Pacquiao fully agreed on it, but the ONE other neccessary agreement, that of Mayweather, was absent. Kizer was very clear about that. He said that Mayweather didn't even respond.

thats my whole point..you saying he should prove he can beat pac,but only way to prove it is by ko,because obviously he won't get the decision,never,and to be able to ko manny he would have to fight in a totally different way,be aggresive and let it all out,and that would mean abandoning his skills(which is what beats pac)...thats why i wouldn't take it,but if it's for money then hey,go ahead he's 38,this could very well just secure his future,but if it's really for beating pac,he's going to have to change his style and to a losing one,he will never get the decision when he uses his superior skills

The one who was stopped in his tracks was Pac, he did not expect such a strong version of Marquez, especially one who was working the body so beautifully so early on.

Pacquiao lost plain n simple!!!! Even if u try to use the "judges score aggressiveness" excuse its BS cuz inorder to score it that way it has to be effective aggressiveness. Marquez took all of pacs tools away from him. Pac didnt really wanna exhange cuz he knew he would get countered. Now thats dictating the fight.

First off your a dumbass, this wasnt from Lederman it was from Keith Kizer.. Marquez lost due to him not bringing the fight to Pac.. Sure he did good at his age but he waited all night while Pac brought the fight to him.. No way this was a robbery.. Marquez should of took it from Pac not wait for Pac..

like i said earlier,,nice to see the guys who actually box telling it like it is...and not hear the pacroid fans complain and say their fighter won,i'd be embarrassed if i were a pac fan because all they did was claim how their fighter was so much improved from their last fight and how he would ko him easily this time around and to hear them actually mention pac's name alongside the all time greats was even worse..i like what hopkins said here that mayweather would blitz right through him,,thats for sure

another fight? like is said earlier,jmm shouldn't take that fight,what for? he knows he won't get the decision,thats a fact,so whats left? a ko,which he isn't a strong fighter for that,which means he would have to be very agressive and leave himself wide open and that style would favor pac not marquez,therefore marquez would leave behind all that makes him beat pacquiao,thats why he shouldn't take a fourth fight,he would be forced to change his winning style to a losing one because he won't ever,ever get the decision.

this^^^ it is a fact when pacquiao said "knock me out and you win"! marquez actually knows he cannot, take the risk of going for the KO, he will remain a counter punching stance no matter. he tried it in the first and second bout and hell be crazy to do that again UNLESS he will really gone crazy the next time. bottom line its always checkmate against marquez, he attacks, he waits-counter, still Manny will win.
