Mayweather-Castillo I was a really close fight. I had Castillo winning 115-113. I had Floyd winning 4 of the first 5 rounds though, and so did most people. So, it wasn't hard to imagine Floyd got the decision. Your point is bull though, because Mayweather gave a prime Castillo an immediate rematch won convincingly by UD in the 2nd fight. End of controversy.

Pacquiao waited 4 years and 3 1/2 years to give Marquez rematches.

Pacquiao won and had a new t-shirt in advance. Marquez also loses his t-shirt championship for not having one of his own. Credit to Marquez for facing Pacquiao three times more than Mayweather.

Ali fought in the greatest era of heavyweights, and beat them all. Cooper, Liston, Patterson, Chuvalo, Terrell, Frazier (2/3), Norton (2/3), Foreman, Lyle, Shavers. What's even more impressive about Ali was the fact that he achieved his all-time greatness when he was past his prime-still good (1970-1975). A lot of people forget that Ali's prime, where he could dance for a whole fight and had the best stamina we've ever seen, and could throw combo's routinely, was from 1964-1967. I just wish Ali would have called it quits after the Frazier fight in 75'. After Ali-Frazier III, Ali was a complete shell of himself and not even that good anymore. And by 78', Ali was way way way gone. It's sad to have seen Ali fall like he did after the Frazier fight. Without the damn layoff for 3 1/2 years, Ali may have never lost.

If it wasn't for the 3 1/2 year layoff, Ali would have NEVER lost to Joe Frazier, NEVER. Frazier was an ATG and gets big credit for beating Ali once, but Frazier was prime in 71' and Ali wasn't. After the layoff, Ali could dance for a few rounds, but fought flat fotted much of the time, lost his stamina, and couldn't throw as effective combos without tiring out. A prime Ali was the best fighter I think we've ever seen.

Pac and Floyd are BOTH All-Time Greats, and Top 30 in my book. But, if they want to be Top 15/Top 10, they need to beat each other and Sergio Martinez.

With that said, it was total bulls**t that Pac got FOTD. That belonged to Floyd and most people deep down know that.

but the point is, ali went life and death with frazier twice - losing once. . . actually, it really wasn't that close in the first fight - FRAZIER PUT HIM ON HIS ASS and beat him up on the inside. . . He had his trouble with fighters too, it's not like he was invincible. . . ANd I don't want to hear that "layoff he would have beat frazier - disrespectful and takes away from frazier". . . completely unfounded and your opinion. . . So, in turn, Pacquiao going life and death with Marquez, yet still winning two of the fights (although he probably should have lost the last fight), DOES NOT deter from who he is, and what he has accomplished. . .

I agree, though, Pacquiao is not as "great" as ali, or leonard, duran, etc. . . And until him and Floyd fight one another, they never will be. .

But he has accomplished more than floyd, and i believe he completely deserved FOTD. . . Mayweather did not deserve it, and the only people who believe that are his hardcore fans. . . People who are not big Pac fans still admit he deserved FOTD. . .

Now your reaching and getting angry it seems. If you meant a third then be clearer cause he got roundly schooled in the second fight. And im here talking about PAc vs Marquez but i can see your boxing knowledge doesnt go beyond insulting mayweather for things no one mentioned on this blog.

1.) Come on man, Raphael don't know **** about boxing

2.) " After 36 rounds of fierce combat, Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez are basically even up..... Pacquiao now holds a 2-0-1 edge over Marquez, but he certainly could be 0-3 " ~ Dan Raphael

So, you have chosen to fly with Raphael, because it suits your agenda, instead of flying with common-sense and the dozens of professional fighters who have ALL stated that Marquez beat Pacquiao..... fair enough, and good luck with that.

According to compubox, Marquez easily beat Pacquiao in their first two fights..... you do know that, right?

Does knowing that, somehow change your view about compubox or the result?
