Williams-Harrison: The heavyweight fight of the year...?

Say what you want, little kiddies, "yo, Brit bums sux, LMAO, pwned! pwned! pwned!" I couldn't care less.

In a year of frankly piss-poor heavyweight boxing where Wladimir became once more the "saviour of the division" by getting knocked on the floor and trying to get up like Bambi skating on ice, these boys could provide the big show of the year.

Byrd plays pat-a-cake, Toney's on the juice and Rahman tries (and apparently succeeds) in convincing people that he would have KOed Vitali despite the fact his last fight was so dull I nearly kicked in my monitor and he got rocked by Monte Barrett.

Honourable Mention: Lamon Brewster. You're single-handedly keeping the flame alive, son.

So what will be the biggest British boxing match since Lewis-Bruno will doubtless be slagged because many members here won't get to see it live. I'm sure there are ways round this. I won't even mention the fact that it's not for a title, as Toney gets plenty of threads when he's just bashing up A.N.Other heavyweight.

I can't wait for this one, slag it as much as you want, Harrison's an untested, technically excellent boxer and Williams is a proper warrior. (Last December saw the only time in a Vitali Klitschko fight where there was an injury and not a quittage after it).

In fact, I'm off right now to bash one out just thinking about it...

It'll be a great fight... In fact it's the 1st heavyweight fight since Vitali Klitschko vs Danny Williams that I'm interested in.

It's too bad that we here in the states will not be able to watch this fight. I am very interested in it.

I'm sure i'll be tuned into this one. I'm backing Danny, but Audley is probably favourite. Good undercard as well (in domestic terms). Magee vs Takaloo could well be a good fight. Some great prospects on the card as well.

Audley Harrison is just not FOTY material, don't lie to yourself. He is a very skilled heavyweight but there's just no excitement in him. I've seen a couple of his fights televised here in the States and I fell asleep in almost all of them(no exaggeration).

I'll be rooting big time for Danny but I think Harrison will win by an easy UD.

To answer your question, no way in hell would this be FOTY.

I'm hoping for a good fight between these two but as was said the undercard is top quality as well particularly the Magee/Takaloo bout so even if it turns out to be a bore there's still plenty of action beforehand to keep us happy, it's on ITV though which is why I'm glad I'm going to the fight coz they're **** with the undercard coverage and you'll hardly get to see any of it
