based on jabs landed, pacquaio won 8 rounds to jmm’s 4….again, thats giving jmm the round that was even, round 8

the most effective punches, the power punches….
Based on power punches landed, pacquaio won 8 rounds to jmm’s 4….no even rounds there…
Come on now. These stats don't tell which blows were heavier.

amir khan has a score show how close this fight really is.

People need to rewatch this fight.

There are too many close rounds in this fight and if you give either Marquez or pacquaio more than a 7-5 your score card are obviously ****ed.

It can go either way depends on who you give those close rounds too.

Clearly this is about "Marquez won because Amir Khan said so!"

                Best post fight comments yet.......

First I would like to commend you for your honest assessment of the fight. It's one of those fights you have to watch a couple times before analyzing. I believe that because MANNY didn't K.O. him, in the eyes of the boxing world, he lost. Guess what? Some guys you just don'y K.O. MANNYs defense was better than in the tow previous fights. Just look at his face after and then look at MARQUEZs face. Outside of the cut lip, MANNYs face looked unscaved. The tiny cut he sustained late in the fight was caused by an accidental head but. It's funny how humans turn on you over night isn't it? Reading all of the boxers opinion of the fight and the fans, you would have thought that MARQUEZ dominated him or something. Right? In a close fight, it goes to the champion. A real boxing purist knows this. MANNY has a level that MARQUEZ can't match and that's why he is an all-time great and MARQUEZ is just a hall of famer. A couple of points I'd like to make. Number one, if MANNY was on roids, why was MARQUEZ bigger and came in at 150 on Saturday? He was clearly bigger than MANNY. It shows you how unique an athelete he is. He was slimmer than he's been in years! He looked every bit like a lightweight. Number two, I think KHAN is jealous of him and his comments in the past and on Saturday, proves just that. Number three. I think it's funny how ARUM is screaming how MARQUEZ deserves a fourth fight when MANNY is his fighter! He's a crooked son of a ***** who looks like a former mob boss! He did COTTO the same way by allowing CHEETO back. What a slap in the face. Number four, I guarantee MAYWEATHER will finally sign to fight MANNY now that he thinks he's slowing down. In conclusion, I think MANNY was a bit over-trained and it almost cost him his f15 fight win streak. He should fire ARIZA if he can't figure out why his legs keep cramping half way through fights. If I were MANNY, I would retire because there is nothing left to prove. I don't want him to over stay his welcome. When you fight in the style he does and with so much stamina and energy, eventually you wear out! MAYNEVER is twice his size and should win if they ever fight BUT don't count out the little guy because he is special. He could very well out point him. That's the thing about MANNY most don't realize. He doesn't have to K.O. you to win and he isn't as easy to hit as he use to be. His conditioning may pull him through in a fight where he would be a huge under dog and a fight where the entire boxing world would be against him.

A power punch is anything other than a jab, that doesn't signify how clean or hard the punches were.

Marquez landed 90% of the big punches and clean punches, he was the one landing the hurtful shots. Manny landed very few flush shots on Marquez.

                    Answer me this?

Hey. Honestly, I think that KHAN is jealous and wants MANNYs spot like a lot of other fighters. I say that because he's been running his mouth a little much for MANNY to be his so called friend. Saying how close their sparring sessions are, and how if he can take MANNYs punch, he can take anyones punch. Little does he realize, he's nowhere near as tough as MANNY. In a fight without head gear, MANNY would strech him out. Anyway, answer me this......What ever happened to taking the champions title? MANNY is an all-time great and MARQUEZ is just a hall of famer for a reason. MANNY out-hustled MARQUEZ again in my eyes and in a close fight, it has to go to the champion. You agree? MANNY has that extra level/gear that MARQUEZ just can't match man. It's so shocking to me how the entire boxing world and all these ex fighters are screaming robbery, when yesterday, MANNY was the man. Now just because he didn't K.O. MARQUEZ, he's an average fighter? This tells me one thing, humans ain't ****! One minute you the man, the next, your nothing. It was a very close fight, and MARQUEZ did better than I thought, BUT at the end of the day, you have to TAKE the title away from the champion. Think DOUGLAS/TYSON, LEONARD/DURAN ll, WHITAKER/CHAVEZ, HOLYFIELD/BOWE ll, MAYWEATHER/CASTILLO ll. In all these fights, you knew who the hungrier fighter was. People just want something to argue about because they like contraversy. Good post though.

I must say, I really didn't like Khan, especially when Floyd's name came out of his mouth anytime someone put a Mic in front of it. But, since the Floyd s**t has cooled off from Khan, I am actually starting to like what he says. He was right about Maidana, he beat him once convincingly already, and Maidana hasn't done s**t since to earn a rematch, besides almost lose to a way past it Morales and beat a couple no names.

He's right about Bradley, f**k that guy! Justice would be that Arum screws him over and doesn't give him the Pacquiao fight this spring, like he was most likely promised.

I won't say he's right about this, because I had the fight a draw, but I am liking what Khan is saying lately. Slowly becoming a fan.
