Who did you give the close rounds to (Pacquiao or Marquez)

If you are one of the judges and had to give score the rounds that can go either one who would you give it to? Pacquiao who is the champion or Marquez who is the challenger. Just wants to know your opinion about it.

For me I would have given it to the champion. It's common sense to give it to the champion who's more aggressive rather than give it to the challenger who's not sending the message that "I am here to get your belt"

PS. For those who are saying it was not a close fight don't even bother replying because you are just hating.

If you give the close rounds to the champion that is being biased. If you can't give a round to either fighter definitively you call it even.

      Unbelievable,

You don’t give fighters close rounds solely based on their title status that defeats the purpose. It’s an even playing field once they enter the ring and all else is forgotten. You give close rounds to the fighter who you thought deserved that round not who should have gotten the round.

Sure but I bet you gave it to marquez. I am asking you as a fan. Did you give the close rounds to marquez because if you are saying there is no close rounds then you are BIAS yourself.

Hmmm, I don't think you understand what I am trying to say.
When I say close rounds - It can go either way.

Now when you said - "You give close rounds to the fighter who you thought deserved that round not who should have gotten the round."

You mean the challenger(Do me a favor and go read a dictionary and look up the meaning of "Challenger") should've gotten the points instead of the Champion?

What I said on my post is my opinion not what it should be.

As a fan, who do you give the close fight to? Pacquaio or Marquez?

I gave it to the fighter who I actually thought won it, unless of course it was even. What kind of a ****** question is that?

The fight was close, but I thought manny won. I felt that Juan was more concerned about eating a big shot and went backwards too much. Had he stepped forward in the last few rounds and went for it I think he would have won (unless of course he got caught). Fight was too close for him to finish the fight the waY he did.

I thought manny won the close rounds because he was more aggressive, throwing more punches, etc....

Fight could have gone either way and I would have been satisfied, no way was this fight a robbery.

whoever controlled the majority of the round and had the overall better part of the exchanges.

you have to be honest with yourself and really admit who controlled the fight....

That's how it usually works. A close round where you can't decide one or the other always goes to the champ. They are not allowed to give out even rounds, they need to choose one or the other. It's the same principle that if the fight ends in a draw, the belt does not change hands.

Let's just be thankful for an exciting fight, I'm not asking for my money back. Not like the Mayweather v. Ortiz fight.

It's not a ****** question, it's actually a great question. Who would you have given the rounds that looked even. Don't forget judges are not allowed to give even rounds, they have to choose a winner for each round.
