This wasn't a question of Marquez' greatness, it was a question of Pac as a fighter and his progress and development. At the end of the day Pac fell short and that says a lot about his previous opponents, if Pac adjusted like JMM adjusted he would've came out with a much more decisive win - it just happens that he's gifted with power and speed. Watching the fight I thought JMM was substantially slower than Pac.
And 99% of people after the May-JMM wrote JMm off as a contender @ above 140, but conveniently jumped on the bandwagon when JMM-Pac was signed. Which is funny because I bet most weren't sincere about JMM's ability to put on a close fight like tonight.
