Here's what I think.... he's trying to be a tactical fighter now who takes his time.
He needs to stop that and do what he used to do.... flurry of punches and hope they hit.

Bro, its the same Manny Pacquiao. Manny rely's heavily on his physical tools, speed and power. Against guys that are there to brawl, stand in front of him with little to no movement, defense and ring IQ, he looks phenomenal. This has been the act for a long time, i call it the smoke and mirror act. His aggression will always play into the hands of great counter-puncher and unfortunately, he doesn't have the ring generalship to adapt. He hasn't looked this bad since guess what, the last time he fought Marquez. Wait till he gets into the ring with Mayweather.

He looked beastly there, also against Clottey too. He just has to transition into a newer style.

No more jumping around and actually learn how to cut off the ring.

the Mayweathers were partying last night, that's the rumor of the town
they got the upper hand with any negotiations with Top Rank now, comparing Floyd's shutout with the same opponents that Manny have faced lately

They were saying he was being crueller to sparring partners and was gona go for Marquz, but it's just not being seen.
You make a good point on 24/7 about being crueler to sparring partners.

Every 24/7 has made a point to make the under dog look like they have a chance. In this one, they made it out as if Pac was so hungry and it really looked like Pac was going to win to me. I did read that Pac got owned by a sparring partner and it got taken down.

Usually they make Pac look like he is losing in sparring I.E. Khan etc...

This time they showed him sort of dropping guys etc...

I didn't thought so before but now I really think Amir Khan would prove to be the better fighter to face Mayweather from Roach's stable, taller with a good jab, can keep Floyd away, while Manny must fight in the pocket to do any kind of damage.

This is true, he looked hopeless, his facial expression was telling. The old Manny, even in frustration is still throwing punches, strictly talkin' the Pacquiao that fought Morales, and the first two Marquez fights.

Khan is young, hungry and does throw a hell of a lot, as well as being physically long, tall and fast. He is a nightmare for most guys, particularly if you can't hurt him.

I can see Khan fight JMM and do extremely well. As for Khan VS Mayweather, Khan has a good chance to win 3 rounds.

Mayweather has declined and his workrate comapred to 130 is a lto less, but technically, he never relied on power, and his style is very hard and proven to be great. Mayweather has less footspeed, but his hands are fast, reactions still good, and his timing and ability to read the opponent is still there.

Yeah, if the old Manny was frustrated, he'd just **** his gloves together, scowl and basically say '**** you' and go in there like a buzz saw even if he had to take some punches to make his point. He lost that eye of the tiger. Damn shame, hopefully this wakes him up.

He keeps talking about changing his style but it's just not a good idea at this point in his career.

He'll never be a boxer and for him to try it now is just suicide. His success comes with attacking and making his opponents react. Why be economical with your punches when volume punching is your clear advantage?
