Vitali-Rock: is it on or off or what?

There's two conflicting headlines with the same date on the front page... then all the threads have so many pages to wade through.

So... is it happening or not? This division is getting beyond a joke now. Somebody fight somebody, please.

      Klitschko-Rahman is off now!
WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko has pulled out of next Saturday's heavyweight title defense with interim champ Hasim Rahman. According to Top Rank, promoter of the event, Vitali was medically cleared to fight, however it was later announced that Vitali was not happy with the rigid brace he was fitted with and said no go. A new fight date will be announced. This is the fourth postponement of the snake-bit affair, having been previously scheduled in April, June and July.

      Vitali-Rock to be rescheduled!

      OFFICIAL TOP RANK STATEMENT
The world heavyweight championship fight featuring Vitali Klitschko vs. Hasim Rahman on November 12 is postponed and will be rescheduled, Bob Arum of Top Rank announced today. Klitschko, the WBC heavyweight champion, was injured while sparring in Los Angeles on Thursday. He wrenched his right knee and did not continue training. On Saturday, Klitschko was examined by famed orthopedic surgeon Dr. Tony Daly of Los Angeles. He diagnosed the injury as a sprain and suggested the use of a rigid brace on the right knee. However, while sparring in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon, Klitschko reported the knee did not respond to either medical treatment or the use of the brace. Bob Arum, CEO of Top Rank and Tom Loeffler, managing director of K2 Promotions, announced that Klitschko vs. Rahman will be rescheduled. A new date, Arum said, will be announced next week.

Oh FFS, I'm fed up with this now! I was really looking forward to seeing that lanky ***** bash up Rahman, now it's off. Or even worse, he'll go ahead and the knee will effect the outcome...

Does it really surprise anyone that Vitali is pulling out again? Honestly, does it?

**** it, just give the belt to rahman already, lips is playing games.

vitali is scared and thats plain truth, how the **** do you get hurt everytime you have to fight the same fighter? vitali is a coward and even though i hate his brother i know he wouldnt play these types of games. wlad fights big punchers even though his chin is suspect and vitali cant face his number 1 challnger

take the interim off of rahmans title, lips isnt active anymore......

yo u saw what happend Lewsi the first time when he took Rahman for granted, Klitschko is thinking of the fans he wants to go in there 100% and whoop on Rahmans ass without having to worry bout any injury stopping him in the fight, I am dissapointed too but this fight is gonna happen anyways...

There is an interview with Klitscko's manager about all this on *********. There is a risk that the WBC may strip Klitscko and Rahman would be upgraded from interm champion to full WBC champion. It depends on the extent of the injury, but Rahman could be the new WBC champ next week without fighting at all!
