All roach could say is"you need to knock him out" but offered no strategy on how to do it

EXACTLY what I walked away thinking after last night. Freddie was sleeping on the job man. Seems like all they worked on was mitts during camp. Didn't watch any film, didn't have a game plan. The game plan they utilized against Cotto would've been very effective IMO.
But this time out, they bought into the hype and thought they could land one punch and put JMM to sleep. Pac was just looking for one big punch all night... that was the 'game plan'. Ridiculous.Comment

De La Hoya was scuffing up Mayweather's Reeboks all night and still lost. Theory disproved. As boxing fans you should all know why this happens. Sigh.Comment

What disgusted me even more was that in the HBO face off they showed what Pacquiao must do in terms of foot work in order to neutralize the feet games of Marquez and it seems like Roach was unable to get him to do it.
Pacquiao hates when you make him turn and have to replant his feet.Comment

So that's why Pacquiao looked so bad last night. This was probably the reason in the first two fights also.
Juan Manuel Marquez: All Time Great Stepper.
Beat the GOAT three times by constantly stepping on him.
People are fooled by thinking Pacquiao's weakness is boxing/counterpunching. You actually have to step on him!Comment

Freddy Roach has never offered Manny good in-fight advice, why is this surprising now.
If plan A works Manny kills it, if plan A gets mitigated there is never a plan B never has been, the plan if he is having trouble is just to work harder at plan A and hope it works out~Comment

You don't even have to move side to side. He can't even counter straight back movement. If you're not walking straight towards him, ready to brawl, Manny is lost.Comment
