Lacy is a great fighter but just becuase Joe has no major scalps on his record doesn't mean he couldn't have!

Whatever way you look at it, Lacy is in for a hell of a fight, I'm not saying Jeff isn't good enough to win but Calzaghe has a rock chin, awesome hand speed and can punch a bit too.

Win or lose I think many will change their opinions on him!

I do too. i am not a Calzaghe fan by far but something about lacy bothers me. Plenty of people assume Lacy is gonna beat joe up and this is a silly notion. Calzaghe has never really looked beatable apart from a knockdown and a split Dec! He has probably lost no more than 7 rounds on scorecards throughout his career. He has serious punch power, very fast hands and a good chin. I'm not saying this makes him the winner against lacy, what i am saying is that he is a legitmate opponent and stranger things have happend, hell he could win!

Well i totally agree it will be a hard fight for Lacy but he does have a very good chance of winning and/or anything can change in the boxing ring…!

i don't think calzaghe is much better than pemberton, however, he IS a bigger puncher. if he lands, and he probably will, Lacy's chin will be checked, but calzaghe is getting older, he's definitely slowing down, Lacy is in his prime - Lef Hook can kick it up a notch if he has to but calzaghe can't. i'm expecting a good fight but i am sure Lacy will win. He just destroyed pemberton, and the sandman while old was a step up for Lacy. Calzaghe isn't that much better than the sandman, he'll give Lacy a good fight, probably a great fight early on but as the rounds go on Lacy will start to dominate
