Need to boycott any future Top Rank PPV's.
I'm absolutely gutted for Marquez. He pushed his near 40 year old body to it's very limits. Secluded himself from his family and children for 10-12 weeks. The guy put up the fight of his life and humiliated Pacquiao at times and for what? For some selfish and corrupt judges to steal his moment of glory.
It's not like these decisions are some freak occurrence either. These things happen pretty regularly. The Williams-Lara robbery was one of the worst i have seen and that was only a few months ago!
Fact of the matter is boxing has now become a business, where a promoters cash cow is wrapped in cotton wool. They are carefully paired with fighters which they're expected to beat because promoters know boxing fans will buy the PPV no matter what, and if the cash cow does manage to lose like last night the paid off judges will come to their rescue.
As long as greedy promoters continue to make money we will continue to see bull**** decisions like last night. If half the fans stopped paying for these bull**** PPV'S things would change drastically.
