It was a good fight and a close one, but Pacquiao pulled it out. More powershots landed, more shots landed, more thrown, he was the aggressor- Marquez fought well, but didn't do enough. His corner deserves lots of blame. Marquez only landed like 11 or 12 shots per round.

No need for a 4th fight to happen they should sign up the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight before it loses more luster than it already has and they lose all the millions.

I literally kept saying that all these haters declaring the fight a mismatch, and marquez old and bloated and slow would immediately say after the fight (if marquez won/made a good fight), that he would never get his respect, and people would just resort to saying pac is overrated, etc., etc. . .

At the time at 135 he would of have given him fits , Manny is a good fighter that got over hyped because of some great match making and CWs , how did Teddy put his WW resume , " Made to Order " , time to step up and take his just desert from Floyd , geez I would not be at all surprised if Manny could not win a single round against Floyd .

I had Manny winning 115-113 but if it goes the other way it's understandable. I am a big Pacman fan but I don't see him beating Gayweather. Marquez is a legend. You've got to give him credit for his performance at 38 years old. No need for a 4th fight. et's get Mayweather and Pacman next year.

its not about marquez not having anything to do with it. It just shows pac is the same fighter he was in 2008 and that his recent years are not as special or makes him one of the greatest of all time in terms of skills.

hes what hes been at lower weights. The difference is lighter guys could (sometimes) handle his speed while slow guys like cotto and margarito can't.

pac is still the fantastic fighter he always was. Hes just not the superevolved machine most of his fans think he is nowadays.

dude u were right, pac had a hard time it was a close fight. but if u think that makes pac look good, ur a fool. he shouldnt have had a hard time. not at all. there really is no excuse. if it had been mayweather who struggled like that, he would have been blasted. **** he was blasted for two well placed shots landed in a round he probably won in a fight he probably won every round. the double standards are disgusting to me.
