yea, i stopped ordering after Mayweather vs ortiz and Hopkins vs dawson. boxings a joke and MMA is taking over. all bout the money. money truly talks. fight wasn't even close and they still gave it to packman. WOW!!

why would defense count in scoring?
punches landed is how fights should be scored, fairly simple, people should forget all the rest
and if the guys landed roughly the same punches look for who's punches had the better effects

Because then I could hit you on your shoulder all night long while u hit me cleanly in the face and I would still win that is why defense, and effective aggressiveness counts.

If we just went by punch count it would no longer be a sweet science but a low power slapping match where i hit u on the shoulder 300 times and win. Judges wouldnt be needed and we would just look at an insignificant compubox that is why.

I give credits to Pac for not raising his hand victorious at end of the fight, true warrior accepted the defeat right there. Now on interviews he is just playing along because that mafia is too strong and he knows he is just a puppet.

i agree, but i don't think that's an excuse. if he is the humble and honest man he claims to be, then he should have the guts to admit he lost, and expose the "mafia" who is corrupting this sport. And don't get me wrong, i am a pacquiao fan, but i just can't be part of this robbery.

Does anyone feel there should be an immediate rematch in march-ish? Marquez might be too disgusted to even consider going on with boxing though honestly.

JMM is dissapointed he is talking about retirement and i wouldn't blame him. He can win a decision against pacquiao he needs to ko him and that won't happen so whats the point so he can counterpunch the **** out of pac again and still loose a decision.

marquez schooled manny and exposed him again. no right hand from manny, no skills only talent. age advantage, speed advantage and power advantage for nothing. this means floyd whoops manny since he is a better, counter than marquez, is faster, has longer reach and more power.
