He does have good number bar the knock downs agaisnt him and also you must look at rounds, that's how fights are scored. You can hit a guy 100 times in round 1, and lose the other 11 rounds by having 3 hits to 5 for example.

Marquez won both fights because there were more rounds in which he not only landed more power shots, but more power shots at a higher % along with a higher overall % of total punches. Their are rounds where one guy landed more shots or power shots and the other landed at a higher connect %---rounds which can go either way--- but their were just more rounds where Marquez simply landed both more punches at a higher connect % in more categories.

if compubox realy meant so much then thered be no need for judges

doesnt matter if jmm outlands by 1 or 2, cos he barely hurt pac, whereas pac had jmm hanging on for dear life multiple times.

          the 2 most telling stats:

          Pac 4 KDs to 0.

4 (+1=5) Judges say pac won, 2 say JMM won

even in the 2nd fight, pac outlanded jmm in 7 rounds, but its ok cos i know that doesnt matter.

pac won both fights and i think we all know that; no need to deny it

I can' t agree with u more its about time somebody came on this site with some sense just got done watching their second fight in 08 and I saw some rds that marquez clearly won and was given to pac same thing in the first fight u know when they made these odds in vegas I think they went pac's recent fights where he basically fought stiffs aside from cotto and they failed to take into account marquez's acomplishments in the past 3 years.

                  round 1

                  jabs connected/ jabs total

                  marquez:1/12
note: marquez used alot of feign jabs to keep pac at a distance in which i didnt count them

                  power punches connected/total
                  pac:3/11
                  marquez:1/18

defensively pac was better since he defended against power punches better, pac outlanded jmm by a mere two punches in the clean and hard punches category, both are tied for ring generalship and of course the effective aggressor was he that landed the power punches better or defended better against it

PAC WINS ROUND 1 but not by much

                  ***will post round 2 later***
