90+% of Sugar Ray Robinson's fights weren't televised.
Fury/Chisora > Sugar Ray Robinson?????
I'd like to see how long the bitchko's circa. 1999 would last against Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis or Tua.
The one that people claim is the better of the 2 couldn't even last 7 rounds with a nearly 40 year old version of Lewis WHILE IN HIS PRIME.Comment

I'd actually favor Vitali to beat any of the guys you listed even in their primes.90+% of Sugar Ray Robinson's fights weren't televised.

And Vitali was beating Lennox's ass in that fight. If it weren't for that cut Lennox would have gotten stopped in that fight. Which I'm pretty sure he knew as well because he never bothered to entertain a rematch.
Either way "Don Tay" gets his ass handed to him in less than 1 round against either brother right now. The best thing for him is to stay irrelevant while they're still reigning over the HW division, otherwise he'll just be another Calvin Brock.Comment

So Vitali isn't even to last 7 rounds with the WORST version of Lewis, who was pushing 40, inactive, overweight and half-retired, nor has he ever beaten an opponent above C-level, yet he's supposed to be able to beat great fighters in their prime?
Your assertions have no logical basis.
Here's what an ass beating victim looks like, post ass beating. And Vitali was beating Lennox's ass in that fight.

LMAO at some "Don Tay" fan talking about logical basis. I feel like I'm in the twillight zone.So Vitali isn't even to last 7 rounds with the WORST version of Lewis, who was pushing 40, inactive, overweight and half-retired, nor has he ever beaten an opponent above C-level, yet he's supposed to be able to beat great fighters in their prime?

The fight was stopped because of a freakish cut, not because Lennox was beating Vitali into a pulp. In fact it was Vitali handing out the ass beating even with the cut.
Have you seen Vitali fight? Contrary to level of opposition, I would favor him against David Tua, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, or even Mike Tyson in his prime. The lack of quality opposition regarding Vitali is actually moot, since they were just never there to begin with. Now if they were there and he quacked then I'd be the first to call him out on it.
Yes, post a picture of the cut because that told the story of the entire fight
Sorry to bust your bubble "Don Tay" fan.Comment

this was a joke of a 'fight' -- LoPorto showed absolutely no skills whatsover -- it's as if ShowTime picked someone working out at the local gym who had never put on boxing gloves, "wanna make some fast money tonight and fight for a championship belt?" -- shame on Showtime for this farce -- if Trout fights that way against anyone real, he'll get his head handed to him.....Comment

it says a lot about the overall credibility of VK's opponents in the last 10 years or so that people are still hashing out the Lewis fight -- the bottom line is that VK's 'signature' fight was a TKO loss to an undertrained, out of shape Lennox Lewis who was pushing 40 and had retirement on his mind BEFORE he stepped into the ring -- too bad that VK fought mostly in a period almost totally devoid of skilled guys.... btw, that was no 'fluke' cut on VK, who had no defense at all that night and was getting nailed with many clean, hard shots despite the fact that Lewis was gassed after the 3rd round....Comment
