It's not the age that makes this fight ridiculous. It's the weight that makes this garbage.

Yes because Mosley was shot to pieces something that JMM is not...The weight is what makes this fight garbage....If they would have fought at a weight in which JMM belong to. Then a Pac vs a 38 YRS OLD JMM would have been damn good event.

And, he still the best LW out there right now...If this fight was at 135 tomorrow it would be an awesome fight. Even if JMM is 38 yrs old, again still the best LW out there. Sadly he's not a WW. His fighting a weight-class that he doesn't belong in...That's the main problem here. Not that he's 38.

And, no he didn't show his age in his last fights...His last 2 fights ended in KO's, one of it first round against a bum(didn't even have time to show his age) and the other one against the #1 rank LW.

This fight could have IMO meant more for Pac if it was between LW and JWW in which both fighters could have easily made.

Thats true. But there's a reason why this fight is for Manny's WW tittle. It's the WBO's way of taking a cut from that Manny Pie. It's just sadly a matter of politics because I honestly believe the fight would have been preferable and competitive around 140. But the fact that Manny is not a JWW champ but a WW just proves it's about business.
