I was really banking on seeing Gamboa-Martinez at 130, and than Gamboa-Rios in the summer. Gamboa already weighs in between 138-140 on fight night, he could easily fight at 135 by the summer. Gamboa is already 29, in his prime. I'd like to see Gamboa get up to 140, maybe even 147, before he starts to decline.

If he does fight twice at 130 before anything else at 135, I still wouldn't mind seeing him fight Broner. Broner is fighting for the vacant WBO title later this month anyway, so it would mean another title for Gamboa.

manny is smart, gamboa can't just jump up to 135 and expect to succeed against a big tough opponent like rios.

but as some of ya'll say, who knows how long rios has at 135... but I guess there is a possibility of a catchweight fight.

Though I would have liked Rios to take Gamboa out early next year it is nice for Gamboa to have someone look out for him from the Top Rank and HBO wolves. Rios would absolutely wreck gamboa if they fought soon.

                  I'd rather see Garcia-Gamboa before Gamboa-Broner.

Gamboa vs Broner ain't happening any time soon, GBP is investing a lot into trying to trying to blow Broner up there's no way they're gonna feed their 21 year old top American prospect to one of Arum's thoroughbreds before he's ready. It's a fight I'd like to see at some point but there is no way its happening anytime soon, it'll probably happen at 135 a few years down the road...

Rios won't even be able to make 135 much longer the fight needs to happen soon or it won't ever happen. Gamboa vs Broner is a good consolation prize though
