While I was in the Philippines I met some boxing fans that were extremely knowledgeable and objective. One fellow I talked to believed Marquez won the second fight with Pacquiao, but felt that he fell short in the first (due to the three KDs). In short, Filipinos love boxing and many of them aren't blind fans. This "*******ation" phenomenon seems to have manifested throughout the internet; circulating boxing forums, but it should not be used to judge the Filipino as a whole.

There's nothing scientific about compubox, which relies on two random guys that most people have never heard of, pressing buttons like trained monkeys:

them guys have eyes too just like everyone else giving thier take on the fight...both the compubox stats and the judges scoring tally up with eachother so who are we to say they were wrong... i think 116 - 112 for pac is pretty accurate, not that i think i matter but it is what it is...

based on total punches landed, paquaio won 9 rounds to jmm ‘s 3 …that’s giving jmm the rounds that were even, rounds 3 and 9

based on jabs landed, pacquaio won 8 rounds to jmm’s 4….again, thats giving jmm the round that was even, round 8

the most effective punches, the power punches….

Great Post man, I hardly see "blind" fans in real life (like boxing events and stuff).
