What weight gloves will be used for Margarito vs Cotto?

In 2008 they fought with 8 ouncers. Will that be case this time or will it be 10 oz because they are now at super welter?

I think 8 ouncers should be used up to 154 with all these little guys starting to show they can shock the bigger guys with 8ouncers after a career of getting hit with 10ouncers it makes you wonder where people's chin and power really lie.

They should use 10 oz gloves ... using 8 oz at heavier divisions is just playing with fire, somebody could get seriously injured with those gloves...

i think the brand of gloves makes the difference though. grant and winning at 10z would be different than everlast and reyes at 10z. i've used some 16oz everlast gloves that my cousin has, they're really fuuckin sweet! i didnt feel like i lost any speed or power even though i use a fluffier 14oz glove in training. if anything i felt faster in the everlasts.

i think they both use reyes though, someone correct me if i'm wrong

I honestly wouldn't care what weight they use for this fight. But if they use 8oz gloves, oh my God...it's going to be a gruesome fight to close out the year.

They are supposed to be 10 oz but for some odd reason, Margarito's gloves are always a tad bit heavier.
