Just another example of what Joe C is afraid of. Seems Joe C and camp want Lacy to "keep busy" with the hopes that Lacy will lose so they can call him overrated and say he never did belong in the same ring...

I jumped when Lacy dropped Scotty down with that right hand...BOOM!

While Pemberton COULD have probably continued, when you are a ref and see a fighter drop that hard by a big puncher nearly flat on his face...you are paid to react and think of the fighter...

regardless...if it continued, it would have been more of the same the next round and Pemberton who was already slowing down could have possibly been hurt even worse...he has been knocked out and already been in wars...no need for him to end his career in a wheelchair...
