Ortiz/martinez can DEFINITELY happen, Ortiz could also make 154 fairly comfortably, that would probably be more natural than 147. 147 is just a more realistic "peak" weight class for him.
Problem with martinez is, because he was a career 154 fighter.. when all of the excess weight is stripped off of him, he weighs around 152ish of complete muscle, with around 2-3% BF. That would mean making anything below 152 is dangerous, since he'd be shedding lean weight instead of fat and water.
The more he trains to fight at 160, the more dangerous 154 becomes as well. Since moving to 160 he has put on maybe 6lbs of muscle. He weighs 158 now when stripped of all fat and water instead of 152. At his age, it'd be harder to remove that and even harder to keep building to go higher. He came in 171 against Dizzy and performed brilliantly, then 165 against Barker.. which is the same weight he came in virtually every night at 154, so i think 160 is his limit personally.
