Actually pac could have fought marquez for the 3rd time at lightweight or unified against nate campbell. But since floyd got scared out of his panties to make 60mil rematching oscar cuz floyd sr announced he would train oscar against his son they figured they could pick on the much smaller pac. So why make 2mil when you could make 20mil in a fight that was a no-lose situation for pac.

You could make a case for the Marquez rematch, but I guess Pac wanted JMM to suffer the same waiting game he did against Pac after the 1st match when Pac wanted an immediate rematch. But for Campbell? There's much much more money and interest moving up, so no sense staying a bit more for a little or no name fighter. Not belittling Campbell's skills.

Nobody would have thought a Dela Hoya-Pacquiao fight would ever happen? Of course, Manny, win or lose will take that one. It'll be his first real big payday! I don't get why people are criticizing Pac for that fight. He didn't ask for it. Dela Hoya chose the weight. Yet Manny beat him and in a very impressive way.

Now if Sergio wants to be a Pacquiao, go accept or challenge bigger fighters. There's a couple out there which will earn you a good (not as good as a Pac or May) paycheck.
