Vitali lost to the undisputed champion and one *a* title off a fringe contender in Corrie Sanders.
yes, rahman beat lewis to be the UNIFIED HW champion.
yes, vitali lost to lewis and won the vacated title by beating some bum.
but rahman's title reign ended very shortly after he won it. last i checked, vitali is still champion. vitali has looked impressive in his last few fights. vitali has had the title longer than rahman. and vitali far more respectable as a person than rahman is.
vitali has the belt, vitali is the champ, and when rahman loses this fight, he should retire and be rememberd as a bum of a one punch wonder.

Regardless of what you think, you seemed to be implying that Vitali is more of a champion than Rahman was.
That is flase.
Vitali is a title holder.
Rahman (for 6 months) was the undisputed champion.

Vitali has held the title longer, but he's done so by having only ONE more fight. And the fight he won the title and the one where he defended it were agaisnt poor opposition. Outside of that, you have a ton of inactivity.
Vitali also lost to the same guy Rahman lost to.
In the end, if they were both retired now,
Rahman's the one who accomplished more, even if it was one night with one punch.

Sounded legit, but when the story broke and then he was cleared to fight within hours of the story breaking, it sounds su****ious.

Originally posted by TheEvilSaintif vitali retires, ruiz still holds a title, and byrd is still around, i will officially call this the WORST era for the HW division, ever.
we're not there yet, but if the latter happens (lets pray to god it doesnt) it will be the death of the division or even the sport.

I have seen Vitali fights from like 4-5 years ago and he looked much more quicker and more technical, now he seems a lot slower then he used to be, I dont know if this has to do with changing of style or his body not reacting good to this anymore, man I hope this fight still happens man hes been out for almost year man and now he cant afford to postpone again man even if hes really hurt he still has to fight and has to win, no excuses baby no excuses...
