Comments Thread For: Pacquiao, Roach Don't Expect Another Mosley, But a War

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (53-2-1, 38KOs) wasn't pleased with the full outcome of his last performance, a lopsided twelve round decision over Shane Mosley in May. In the pre-fight hype, both boxers promised a toe to toe war, but the fight told a different story.

It all depends how JMM handles the added bulk. I don't think what we saw when he fought PBF was necessarily conclusive. Seems like this time they have more respect for the process.

We all know that Pac has handled his bigger body very well.

If Marquez has managed to bulk up while maintaining most of his speed and stamina, he can win.

If not, he'll get his ass kicked in a fight that will at least be exciting while it lasts.

      WAR MARQUEZ!!

JMM was using weights in training, so I dunno how he'll handle that in the ring. They blamed rocks for the Mayweather loss (also weights).

To be fair, manny was the smaller guy and he beat all those bigger guys so why is it hard to believe Marquez can't do the same? I still don't see Marquez winning but I'm not writing him off completely! And the fight is at 144 not 147.

it's not a coincedence that marquez has a former steroid dealer as his condition coach. i guess he figures 2 wrongs do make a right, but this fights a fraud.

You can guess all you want, but a fraud is two cheap shots and some xylocaine to win.
