Roy's should just retire!

I would hate to see him like the G-Man Gerald McCllean because he was so against fighting past his prime after what happened to Gerald, but he's still fighting, getting old, punished and then knocked out. Roy's just like so many others who can't leave the game. Greg Page fought one fight way to many and he's no longer with us. As a fighter myself I know that talent wise I can still fight but why would I do that if I feel complete with myself. It's sad too me!

I think, unless Roy feels some real hard punches, he should play with this guy. If Max doesn't get the KO, he should be blown out. If Roy loses, it should tell him it is time...

Lol if i had to guess - I'd say he's guaranteed a purse of like 25k. . . And then he gets something ridiculous like a 80-90% cut from the internet PPV buys! and the live gate. . .

If this fight does a few thousand buys, and draws a few thousand people - Roy could walk away with 50-60k!

Jones has been doing this for a while now

he loses to an elite fighter, then he wraps up 1 or 2 wins against jouneyman level fighters, then he gets another opportunity to fight an elite fighter (and to get a good payday)

he's lucky everybody want to make a name for themselves by beating the shell of his former self, otherwise he would be lining up the 50K purses instead of having 500K in between......
