Kell Brook, from a match-up stand point, is a nightmare for Amir Khan. Khan has feasted on fighters that are either slower or shorter or both over the last year or so. In Kell Brook, Amir Khan would finally fight a fighter that matches up physically on all fronts. He would not be plodding like Maidana, or feather fisted like Paulie, or fakin like Zab Judah. He would be motivated, willing, and able. and everyone knows it. Including Khans Camp. I do not live in England, so I do not know how the domestic boxing scene moves and shakes, but I am starting to wonder why the Brittish Press does not push for this fight. Khan talks about Mayweather that and Bradley this. Why not fight someone in your own backyard that will take a 30 percent(at most) and minimal TV revenue? I will tell you why, because the fight is risky. As a boxing writer, I can tell when a fighter is full of sh%t. Trust me my new friends, Amir Khan is full of sh%t. He is going to duck this fight for his welterweight debut. His welterweight debut will come against a fighter that he has physical advantages over. He is a star, so talented. But the fighters he has fought and beaten, at the time that he did it, outside of Marcos, do not justify his extravagant claims. Fighting Kell Brook, a fresh, young, ubberly talented fighter, would underwrite some of the nonsense I read on this website every day
If Kell Brook is so talented why has he not fought any one with a pulse or a punch his last ranked fighter was feather fisted well in to his 30s and other than a few gift victorys had not beaten any one, he also has a loss to Michael Jennings.

Brook is Older than Khan had almost the same amount of fights as Khan also had the same promoter as Khan too.

you do talk some biased rubbish wazza. you slag the hearns off, but the man you spend most of you days fantasising about hanging out of the back of, is managed by some of the slyest, most money grabbing, thieving scumbags around.

this is what’s up with boxing at the moment – people getting too hung-up (fans as well) on who is right and wrong to having dealing with. FFS, if brook is a legitimate contender, which I think he is, then why not fight? it shouldn’t have anything to do with past experiences of promoters/managers, it should be about making fights that people want to see – not playground squabbles over this and that. hearns were pi$$ed after the mccloskey fight, and rightly so. I agree not everything they said was right, but you can’t blame them for getting miffed at their man being robbed.

I’d love to have seen ODLH and captain plug teeth afterwards had khan had that decision against him. They’d have been sh***g somas’

what other promoters have slagged him of?

Warren didnt do his usual back stabbing thing he normally does when Khan left cos he knew there was a chance he might work with him again.

Promoters talk **** about boxers all the time. The Hearns may have went over the top (I didnt watch the press conference after the fight so cant comment on what was said) but u can be damn sure he wont be the last to give Khan abuse.

And unless Top Rank and Golden Boy end their feud, thats 2 promoters he cant/wont work with. There's not THAT many others left with fighters around Khan's weight class. Matchrrom doesnt even have to have anything to do with team Khan, let Golden Boy do the talks with the Hearns, and let Golden Boy run the event, all the Hearns have to do is a bit of negotiating and Khan doesnt get directly involved in that anyway.

Brook's an easy win for Khan anyway, and there's no-one else domestically he can fight. None of the big names will want to go to the UK so if Khan wants to fight again in the UK it may as well be with a name people recognise than against a complete can (or Mathew Hatton). Its ****** not to do the fight just cos he doesnt like his promoter.

Loss to Jennings? He stopped Jennings in the 5th round.

He beat Barrera by headbutt, McCloskey by headbutt, survived against a not so technically gifted Maidana and a shot Judah. When is he going to fight someone decent?

Brooks previous opponent lost to Jennings and Khan has by far a better resume than Brook who has not beaten any one with a pulse or a punch. Khan along with Bradley has the best resume in his division and has had only 6 fights in the lww division.

Jones and possibly Bradley if they both can stop their b*tching and moaning.
Kell Brook has Khan on his lips.

The Hearns said Khan is a fraud after the Mcclowskey fight... how was he a fraud? Mcclowskey didn't do ****.

Hearns are looking for another handout from a Khan fight.

The way they spoke in the post-fight conference and even in the pre-fight conference not just to Khan but also to DLH is really shocking. They can go get a pay day somewhere else or focus on getting McCloskey V Prescott rematch.

Brook? Who has he beaten? Lets seen him fight Berto or Ortiz before calling out Khan ffs!
