That's Bob for ya. He's a character, an as*hole and a smart business man-he's human. You can like him for it, dislike it, but at the end of the day if his son-in-law doesn't get his attention, I don't think our opinions matter much. I, however, find it quite refreshing that he wouldn't withhold his opinion for the sake of playing nice-it's something you won't see much in his business.

Even though it was a documentary about Joe, Good on Bob for sticking up on Ali. It's too bad Bob won't be around when Mayweather Jr is that old, Ol Bob would be sticking up for Floyd in the same manner, who he compares to Ali.

You then devote an entire post, on this thread, to Floyd Mayweather. An entire post discussing a guy that doesn't have much of anything to do with this topic. I agree. Arum is an ******, but he is no different than any other promoter. He is just the best at what he does. I liken his situation with Scott Boras. Most people hate Scott Boras because he is SO good at what he does. They act as though all of the other sports agents have all of this integrity and morality, when in reality they are made of the same exact same cloth as Boras.They just aren't as good as he is. Same situation with Arum. In an industry filled with scumbags, he is the best at what he does. Thus he gets more hate.

If people dislike the way that Arum conducts business, then they should really have a complaint with the system that allows Arum, and all other promoters, to operate in such a manner...
