Saul "Canelo" Alvarez continues to push himself in camp, as he prepares for his scheduled defense of the WBC junior middleweight title against former champion Kermit Cintron, which takes place on the 26th of November at the Monumental Plaza Mexico. Training in his native Jalisco, Canelo is being supervised by Chepo and Edison Reynoso. Canelo has been sparring for six rounds with Nobuhiro Ishida and undefeated prospect Gilberto Ramirez.

If this guy beats Cintron and goes directly to Kirkland, I got mad respect for him. Still , I think it's too early to jump on the Kirkland wagon,Canelo has better boxing IMO.

Him training hard for Cintron is like an asian kid overstudying for a two question addition test..... he's going to beat that ass.

Not sure how much Cintron has left but Canelo should not take Cintron lightly. Cintron still has power and i'd say his power is on even or better terms than Kirkland. Even though Molina should have gotten this title shot, i would be surprised to see Canelo hit the floor.

Canelo looks really sharp and focused...

...this kid has bright future ahead of him. I don't see Cintron lasting over 8 rounds..once Canelo improves his lateral movement..he'd be a beast!
