UPDATE: Codrington broke a neck bone

I was just watching ESPNews and they reported that Jaidon Condrington broke what they called "6th bone" to the neck. I hope it's not that dangerous and hopefully, he can fight again.

When I saw it last night, for a second there, I thought he was ****ing dead, scary ****, really. At least, his brain was not damaged(which is the worst thing that can happen to a fighter).

no, he's okay, they later retracted their diagnosis. everything came back negative. he should be able to recover just fine.

      hmm

Not surprising that ESPN is the 1st to jump at the bit to report false info when it is negative. Never hear them say jack **** about boxing unless someone is hurt, or they just lie saying he was hurt.

      Bitches.

          The retracted injury statement

It's not ESPN's fault that they reported, incorrectly, Jaidon's injury.

We received press releases last night that at first reported the injury, and then were later updated with the retraction.

Still, it is obviously quite rare for Sportscenter to have boxing. The fact that the clip of the fight was around thirty seconds likely made it more palatable for their editing needs.
