    Pathetic idea.

Who cares about legacies. Any opponent they try to make a fight with at this point, is looked down upon. David Haye was the last guy.

It's no longer about opponents, it's about Title defenses. The more of them, the better. Top 5 or mandatory guys aren't gonna be in rush to make the fight, in between beating up those guys, fight Green prospects and washed up guys like Holyfield. Like Apollo Creed looking at the Contender book, trying to find a club fighter he wants to give a Title shot to on Thanksgiving Day, and finds the Italian Stallion.

Except the Klitschko's can look up some African-American no-hopers and fight them on Black History Month instead.

You have to be black american to get credit for almost anything in HW boxing.

Bro, I'm not trying to cause trouble with you whatsoever.

      Look at the bolded.

Saying things like that in a Klitschko thread is baiting and setting up a potential bitterly disputed race argument. All you had to say was "American boxer". Absolutely no need for colour.

Holyfield shouldn't be fighting anyone. It's sad really.

Color and where you come from has to do A LOT with boxing. If you think otherwise you're being naive.

            Who cares about legacies??

This is one of the most shocking Klitschko threads I've ever posted in. The hypocrisy, the race baiting and the 'logic'.

            Classic Klitlicker trait:

Bringing race into a Klitschko debate.

              It worked for Joe Louis.

He's 50, his reflexes aren't there and yes he is still a damn good fighter especially considering his age but it's a matter of time before he gets seriously hurt & no amount of money or title is going to cure his brain damage.

I just wish a millionaire, hardcore boxing fan would just sort these guys out financially or something.

He's always in shape, he's a legend, a credit to the sport, he can still fight but there is only so much you can put yourself through before something gives.

I'd honestly genuinely be scared for his safety if he fights either brother because as much as they respect him, they don't play around & he could potentially get seriously hurt.
I understand what you're saying. As far as Sherman Williams.... dude took him a little by surprise.. unorthodox southpaw stance... fight only went 3 rds & yes Evander was catching leather but was absorbing it & showed that he's NOT in it to get hurt badly as his eye was cut & instead of getting into a war with Sherman like he would've done back in the day.. he saw a way to preserve himself without getting a loss (shows his faculty is still there & that he indeed is protecting himself) He's ALWAYS done poorly against journeymen fighters he didn't feel were a threat & has had struggles with them.. I wouldn't worry about him being up for the brothers.. physically as well as mentally. He always has risen to the occasion after poor performances.

He could get hurt against them even if he was in his prime.. but it's his perrogative to give it a shot.. he can't do any worse than all the latest K victims & will probably be a threat for Wlad... who will be his usual cautious self but will have pressure not to hurt Evander but also at the same time knock him out... I believe all of this will be to Holyfield's benefit & that Wlad will be OVERthinking it & Holyfield will pounce on it once he senses a little doubt.

Vitali... on the other hand... I don't see how he avoids combat as he's constantly throwing shots from everywhere with varying degrees of power that keeps most of his opponents off balance... he'd have to get into a brawl with him as there's no way around it.. with Wlad he could move around & try to avoid the jab & he can bide his time in there KNOWING Wlad will fear throwing his right hand unless he's certain as he knows Holyfield will counter.

First of all don't compare Lebedev to The Klitschko's... The Klitschko name is known world wide.. it's just that it's sort of a tainted name in the States because of the perception they're boring & there competition ain't all that.

A holyfield vs Klitschko fight will get exposure in the US no matter what versions of there selves they are fighting. Klitschko's WON'T GET THAT right now from any other American heavyweight on this planet.

That has to do with boxing as well but you are acting ****** and ignoring the fact that what I said is the truth. I take it when Adamek fights, the arena is filled with African Americans right? Or how about when Cotto fights in NY? Damn that arena is filled with Mexicans.
