Not really. Tyson was the real deal 1985-1989. What ruined Tyson was three things: leaving Kevin Rooney, getting involved with Don King and going to jail.

His achievments are a fraud. In many of the documentary's about him they say he had a successful amateur record. It was 20-5. His accomplishments are knocking out a light-heavy and a 38 year old Larry Holmes.

Mike Tyson had a 20-5 amateur record as opposed to other fighters who have had 150+ fights. But no, he had a good amateur record. Keep telling yourself that .
