Some of this doesn't even make sense. Ali and Tyson, they're pretty much polar opposites how do you realistically merge a tall boxer whos defense is reflex based and pulls away leaning back out of range with his head and counters with a swarmer/slugger hybrid who works inside using headmovement to come underneath opponents punches. Different body types each with a style suited to it who fight at different ranges with opposite defensive approaches. Right.

              Hozumi Hasegawa + Pernell Whitaker

Counter punching of Hozumi with the illusiveness of Pernell. Both fleet of foot and southpaw. They'd blend perfect together. Hozumi just needs better defense, Pernell could have used a better offense; counter punching with sneaky power would be perfect.

They'd blend well and be exciting at the same time. Now add Tim Tebow's charisma. You'd have the GOAT.

                Louis and Whitaker.

The #1 puncher with the #1 defensive artist.

EDIT: Or you could sub in Pep/Mayweather. Seeing as Whitaker was a lefty and Louis a righty.

Their styles are already quite similar what do you view as weakness in each guy that the other could significantly improve upon? Whos left hook do you take? Whos chin? Dempseys footwork i'd assume but whos upperbody approach to defense? What exactly are you combinding as most their strengths lie in similar areas? Genuinely interested......
