Alright, alright, now I see he got some fans here in this forum but some people are hating for no reason. I think he was a really good fighter and very entertaining. I don't really let stuff from a personal fighter's life to get to me and make me dislike him.

i love oscar hes tied for my top 3 fav boxers (gatti and cotto are the others, pacquiao is close also), he never ducked anyone and was a great fighter i miss him fighting so bad....haha i even bought his book to support him and always check golden boy promotions for clothing i may want to buy but they dont have too much online that looks appealing.

and to the dumb ass check hooks guy, if u watched his fight vs. tito, he def won that, i feel he won the first vs. mosley or at least a draw, and he earned a draw vs mayweather in my opinion...he fought pac man too late in his career he was done already

De La Hoya was my favorite fighter growing up, his fights with mayweather and pac made them stars, he passed the torch in the biggest way.
I poke fun at the pictures (hence my name) but honestly I have no spite towards the man for that.
The only thing I don't like is how he turned into another Bob Arum.
I remember last year he was practically begging for the pac/marquez 3rd fight saying that marquez would beat him, and now a few months ago he said that we all know that pac is going to destroy marquez and that people will want to see pac/ortiz after. It just shows his true feelings that he had last year, and that he really does cash out his fighters sometimes.

For what it's worth,it takes a real man to wear fishnet stockings and high heels.Most will think about wearing them from time to time,but few would actually have the guts to go through with it.Perhaps because of the fear of actually enjoying the experience,if he's honest with himself.

I just uploaded a picture as my avatar of De La Hoya and it hit me, I haven't seen ONE member with a DLH avatar. How come? I guess he's not that popular in Boxingscene but we all know he's one of the most popular fighters ever. Or should say was.
