who ever he fights it will be someone from top rank who will get paid to lose to make humble congressman look good.
My prediction about Manny's next opponent

one thing to keep in mind: Pacquiao has stated several times that he will not fight past 2013. . . KNOW THIS - Arum will try his DAMNEST to make sure that one of his guys BEATS Manny before Manny retires, so he INSTANTLY has created a new star to take his place in PPV drawing power. . . Without Manny, Top Rank's yearly revenue decreases by at least 50%. . . BETTER BELIEVE, Arum will do everything in his power to make sure Manny's "last fight" ends with an L AGAINST ONE OF HIS GUYS!
I think Mike Jones might be the guy he "WANTS" to beat Manny - so that fight won't happen yet. . .
If Arum wants to make the fight with floyd - IT WILL BE in 2012. . . He DOES NOT want Manny to end with a loss to Floyd, and retire on it. . .Last edited by UglyPug; 11-08-2011, 11:48 PM.Comment

I think Mike Jones isn't under the top rank banner yet though. I think he's co-promoted though... honestly I have no idea.
I want to see him fight Rios before he retires. Honestly, Rios could move up to WW by 2013... I'd be down to watch that.Comment

If Bradley looks average against Casamayor, Arum will put him in with Pacquia right away. If Bradley gets beat by Casamayor, Bradley will be put against a journeyman in his next fight, he'll look okay against the journeyman and gets a fight with Pacquiao[Margarito anyone?]. If Bradley beats Casamyor convincingly, Arum will keep "building up the Bradley brand" until Bradley looks average in a fight, then he feeds him to Pacquiao.
But Arum did at least say "Assuming Mayweather is not available". Meaning as much of a liar as he is, at least he acknowledges a fight with Mayweather for Pacquiao's next opponent. Now whether he doesn't pull a "countdown" stunt, or starts whining about where the fight should take place like he's doing right now, talking about Jerry Jones Cowboys Stadium and all that BS, knowing the money is in Las Vegas casinos, remains to be seen. But let's stay positive about this fight. Maybe Arum finally decides to sacrifice his lamb to Mayweather to finally make the "biggest" fight in recent years, and also put an end to the biggest media hype job of the 00's, AKA Manny Pacquiao.Comment
